3D printed holders for common tap sizes and their associated tap drills
This is a pair of tap and tap drill holders for common metric and SAE sizes. The SAE version has 9 spots, and is designed for 6-32, 8-32, 10-24, 10-32, 1/4-20, 5/16-18, 3/8-16, 7/16-14, and 1/2-13 taps; and their associated tap drills. The metric version has 7 spots, and is designed for M5x0.8, M6x1, M8x1.25, M10x1.25, M10x1.5, M12x1.25, and M14x1.25 taps; and the tap drills for each size.
This download includes the STL files as well as STP’s, in case you need to modify the parts to fit different diameter tap shanks or drills. These were designed around my taps and fit perfectly, but yours may vary?
Both holders are very stable with either stubby (screw machine) or full length (jobber) drills.
